AKC National Championship 2021 Campaign
This year, Royal Canin celebrated their 20th anniversary of presenting the AKC National Championship Dog Show. Dog lovers from across the country tuned in to watch the top canine competitors compete for the coveted “Best in Show,” title. Before the airing of the AKC National Championship broadcast, Royal Canin presented their second-annual Puppy Pre-Show, hosted by Wayne Brady, celebrating that champion dogs all start out small.
Owners were encouraged to submit their best puppy videos, for a chance for their puppy to be crowned “Puppy Best In Show,” winning a $5,000 cash prize and a year’s supply of Royal Canin puppy nutrition.
To encourage entries for the Puppy Pre-Show and build excitement for the AKC broadcast, our team created a variety of static and animated graphics, as well as videos to be used throughout Royal Canin’s social media accounts. From tailored messaging to interactive elements such as IG polls and quizzes, the graphics not only created a visual identity tied to the AKC Dog show but also gave the viewers the best possible dog show experience.
