Shooting Star Productions’ Matilda the Musical

For over two decades, Shooting Star Productions (SSP), has been empowering young people ages 5-19 through captivating theatrical performances. From the classic Wizard of Oz and Annie, to the groundbreaking Into the Woods and Percy Jackson – Lightning Thief, SSP has consistently provided a platform for self-expression, and confidence building with each production that they’ve put on.

For the SSP 2024 Summer Production of Roald Dahl’s, Matilda the Musical, the Fierce team joined the cast behind the scenes to provide creative support, including a social media marketing campaign, collateral, web maintenance and small event planning.

The results?

50% of auditions being new families, increased engagement across social platforms, and a complete sell out for all four shows.

Known for their captivating performances, Shooting Star Productions has built a growing base of followers who are devoted to keeping up with the latest productions and fundraising events.

Web Maintenance
Throughout the production season, our team jumped in to maintain the site with edits to the header, homepage information, and the audition page as needed—ensuring that the latest information was always displayed.

Event Marketing
Shooting Star Productions came to us, expressing their desire to do local events that would further promote the show to a wider audience. We took the initiative here, researching the potential places that would be interested in having the cast come and do a small preview of the show.

Our team coordinated the process, having the event hosted at the St. Louis Public Library. It was a huge success, with over 100 people in attendance.
