Marketing NHPC’25 – BPA’s Biggest Conference in History

May 6, 2025

Each year, the Building Performance Association (BPA) hosts a conference that brings together the home performance industry for four days of education, updates and networking. This year, the 2025 National Home Performance Conference & Trade Show (NHPC’25) was the largest in the organization’s history with over 2,800 attendees from all 50 states.

We’re an extension of BPA’s marketing team, providing marketing strategy and creative support all year long.

Our NHPC’25 work kicked off with the branding and logo that carried all the way through our promotions and on-site collateral. Creating a stand-out event look was key to building excitement for the event and location in New Orleans.

“What an amazing look for the event this year! We love the colors and distinct pieces that make the conference stand out.”

Trade Show & Photo Booth

We worked with BPA to maximize interactive opportunities on the trade show floor. We designed a board for attendees to add their own notes and experiences about the industry and with BPA. We also created a New Orleans themed photo station, complete with a custom frame cutout (an attendee favorite!)

On-Site Photo & Video

Our year-round marketing strategy depends on the photo and video content we capture at this event. Our team spent a few days capturing event highlights and stories from attendees we can use to showcase the next event and promote BPA’s other industry efforts.

Email Marketing

Our email marketing strategy is the top converter for this event. We maintain a highly-segmented list of 26K+ home performance professionals from across the nation. From gathering speakers and event exhibitors to launching registration and promoting a registration discount, we send weekly emails to keep the event top of mind in the industry. We maintain a 40% average open rate and 7.6% click rate.

Social Media

“Quality over quantity” is a quick way to sum up our approach to managing BPA’s social media channels. Leading up to the event, we focus on presenters and sharing photos from past events to build connections and share the energy of the event. The platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook) truly come to life while we are at the event. We post multiple times each day to document the conference and encourage attendees to engage using the event hashtag.
