Our Process
The website project process is broken up into phases that guide us and keep the project organized along the way. Here’s a look at our web design workflow:

Discovery Session & Kickoff
As we kick off the project, we listen to you and ask key questions to understand the goal of the site and hear your vision. Also in this discovery phase, we conduct an overall website performance and SEO audit of your current site, distribute online questionnaires to key stakeholders and sometimes hold focus group listening sessions.

Project Strategy & Organization
This phase begins with organization of the content that will live on the site. We understand the full picture for sitemap development, which outlines navigation structure and the pages that will live on the site. We consider the customer journey, creating journey paths when needed to ensure site guests have the clearest path to accessing information.
We also build wireframes for key pages that outline the flow of content emphasizing the user journey.

Website Design
In the UX design phase, the site begins to come to life with visuals. We mock up key pages of the website to see how everything will look and function. This typically includes the homepage, a service page and two additional client-selected pages throughout the site. We provide both mobile and desktop views.

Content Collection & Copywriting
While design mocks are taking shape, we are also working on the content that will live on the site. We identify all images needed and build out the copy. Our team leads the copywriting process to ensure every page is optimized for SEO and user experience. We always welcome client input and insights to make sure the messaging feels authentic to their brand.

Website Development
Once the design mocks are approved, we move into web development, also known as our “heads down work time.” Our front-end developers move the design onto WordPress (our preferred content management system). During this time, every page is built and optimized.

Review
Our quality assurance process includes both fashion and function. We run through browser testing and QA across devices. Our team completes a review process, then our clients take a turn reviewing page-by-page to provide feedback. Once we have final approval, we implement our Website Launch Plan.

Website Launch Plan
During the review process, we’re also developing a website launch plan to determine the best date and time to send it live. This includes where announcements will be sent and a recommended full marketing strategy post-launch.

Website Launch
Our favorite day outside of Taco Tuesday is launch day! We send the new site live, replacing/removing the old website. Our team is always around for edits after launch.

Training & Ongoing Support
After the new site launches, we provide tutorials to anyone who will be updating the site. A website is always most effective when it can be easily updated with new information.
Additionally, our team offers ongoing support packages on a monthly basis that range from overseeing site health to providing all content updates.
